Welcome to FiberAnticsUSA.com.  Here you will have all of your fiber needs satisfied. We carry all kinds of Llama and Alpaca fiber, ranging from raw fiber, to roving, homespun yarn and felted items to accessorize your wardrobe and even your home.  Sometimes, we will blend Merino, Cormo, Mohair, and silk in our roving to give the fiber memory.  Please stay, look around, and do come back often.  This is a new site and we will be continually adding to it.

Did you know that our felt is environmentally friendly?  Yep, it's green!   Industrial felt is a result of putting the wool in vats of chemicals to break down the veggy material (hay, grass, poo etc).  We use NO chemicals in the processing of our fiber.  The fibers come in a vast number of natural colors. Dyeing with plants is a method of achieving color with no chemicals.  We do, though, use some acid dyes in our products. 

We shear our llamas, alpaca annually.  This shearing is a benefit to the animals.  If the fleece were to be left on the animals, it would mat (felt) and create heat stress - resulting in death.  

The wool of the llamas and alpacas is bio-degradable.  The wool that is not used in felting or yarn is tossed into compost piles and returns to the earth.
